Nerta comes to Australia with almost 40 years of experience in the cleaning chemicals and soaps industry.
Nerta was introduced to Australia in 2008. The years of experience throughout Europe give us a winning edge in the industry. We have mastered the wash process in harsh condition climates countries such as Eastern Europe and Russia – where dirt, grim and salt are a great proving grounds for a exceptional cleaning products. Nerta remains the Market Leading through Europe.
History in Europe
Entaco plc was established in 1971 and initially produced domestic cleaning agents. In 1975, the company diversified into industrial cleaning agents and more specifically, products for Car & Truck Wash. Under the brand NERTA, Entaco plc brings a wide range of industrial products onto the market, for such as a complete selection of products to be used in carwash machines and jet washing. In this sector, NERTA soon became the market leader in Belgium, where it has had a market share of about 80 % since the late eighties.
NERTA also produces a very interesting range of cleaning products for garages and coachworks.
NERTA has especially become well-known in Europe with the Car & Truck cleaning products, but NERTA also has a complete range of products for Food industry & professional cleaning. This range is very extensive and has been adapted in 2003 to the needs and wishes of the clients.
After the creation of Nerta Carnet Jumbo, which was an unprecedented success, the company moved into exports. NERTA products are now exported to 39 countries, namely the Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Tenerife, Portugal, the Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Russia, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belorussia, Finland, Sweden, Malta, Turkey, Guadeloupe, Moldavia, Greece, Bulgaria, Iceland, Ireland, Qatar, Australia and Iran.
Since 1/1/2000, Entaco plc has been situated in a new 5.600 m² ultramodern factory on 10.000 m2 site. The new premises are equipped with a fully computerized production system with a capacity of 50 tons a day, a tank-park of 400 tons for raw materials and storage capacity for about 1.200 pallets. Furthermore, there is also storage capacity for packaging etc…
Nerta Belgium has it's own dedicated laboratory for development and investigation.
The Entaco site is environmentally friendly. The whole building lies in a shallow tank which has no direct connection to the sewerage system. The rain water is collected in a buffer tank of 100.000L and is used as production water.
The highly inflammable substances are stored separately. There has been significant investment in fire and safety precautions. With its new factory and ultramodern installations, combined with its well-known and reliable products, Entaco plc is looking forward to a successful future.
Nerta and the Environment
We value the balance between man and nature. In our new factory the development of our products and the protection of the environment takes precedence.
During the construction of our new factory, the stringent environment laws of VLAREM II were followed. e.g. the whole building lies in a shallow tank which has no direct connection to the sewerage system, raw materials or polluted water cannot therefore end up in the sewerage system in the case of an accident.
The rain-water is collected in a buffer tank on our 5.600 M2 roof and is used as production water.
The fully computerized production system is enclosed so that unhealthy vapours or emissions are not released into the atmosphere.
For the development of new products or the improvement of existing products, our R&D department works in its own laboratory with only environmentally-friendly elements. The latest developments are closely followed through our excellent relationships with European suppliers of chemical products.
